The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 67.9, which is way better than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD's 53.4 global score. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.4 version and Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD has Android 4.1, so it gives you a couple additional features and improved performance. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's design is newer and somewhat thinner, but just a little heavier than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a little better performance than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD features a very superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because it has a back facing camera with a lot better 8 MP resolution.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is way more expensive than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
