Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD is a little outdated Android device launched some years ago, in 2013, packing a 7-inches multi touch display, an exceptional Dual-Core processor speeding at 1600 megahertz, and two cameras, a 2 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.
This tablet comes with a Rockchip RK3066 chip, which holds a very powerful 1600 MHz Dual-Core processing unit with only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit disappointing for a device this good. To collaborate with graphic rendering, it also has a 266 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP4 graphics processing unit. This tablet has an 8 GB interesting internal storage and an SD card slot, which allows you to store a couple hundred apps without worrying about space.
Apparently Alcatel didn't care so much about the weight in this 12.52 oz tablet. The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD is quite a compact tablet device, considering it has a 7" display and it has just 7.52 inches long. Being just 0.36" thick, this tablet is very thin and stilized.
This tablet has two cameras, a 2 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera.
Alcatel equipped the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD with a good looking 7" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , which makes everything look colorful and brightful. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD features WiFi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a modem or router). This tablet doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM connections.
This device uses an awesome 3300 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this device with an impressive battery life. An issue to consider is that the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD's battery is not removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to get older, while with such a huge battery size you will probably replace this tablet before that becomes a real problem.
This device also features Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth tablets, computers and accessories), and Accelerometer.
Alcatel offers this tablet for $ 249, which is not cheap for this kind of tablet. The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD is the right choice if you are looking for a device for playing games.
