The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has an overall score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD's 53.4 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an older and much heavier portable tablet than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, but Samsung was able to build it just a little bit thinner anyway. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has 4.0.4 version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD has Android 4.1 version.
The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD has a better processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD also has a graphics processing unit. The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD also counts with more pixels per inch of display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a lot better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because it has a much higher resolution back camera.
