The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has an overall score of 74.5, which is a lot better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD's global score of 53.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a much newer and somewhat thinner tablet than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, but it's also much heavier. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD has Android 4.1 version.
Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD features a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has a much smaller screen and a way lower 800 x 1280 resolution, they both have the same amount of pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB and more internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5's CPU is very similar to the CPU in Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and 2 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a lot better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because it has a back facing camera with a lot better 8 MP resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a very superior battery duration than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because it has a 121% bigger battery size.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is way more expensive than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
