Comparison review
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is just a bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, with a 58.6 score against 53.4. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s body is notably newer and lighter, but also a little bit thicker than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1 version, so it provides the user some extra features and performance enhancements.
Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features just a bit better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has 2 less and slower processing cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has a bit more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it has a bit worse resolution of 768 x 1024px, a little bit less pixels per display inch and a bit smaller screen.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) takes a bit better pictures and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD. Both have the same resolution camera. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 32 GB internal storage.
The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a much longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
