Comparison review

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is slightly better than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, having a 58 score against 53.4. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has 4.2.2 version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1, so it provides a couple nice extra features. Even though Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD were only released 9 months apart, Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a little thinner and a lot lighter.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because although it has a slower graphics processing unit working at 450 megahertz, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster) and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a way better looking display than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a lot more pixels per inch in the display.

Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD counts with a little bit better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB. Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD shoots a lot better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a very superior battery lifetime than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Even being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is also by far the cheapest one, making it very easy to pick between these tablets.
