The LG G Pad 8.3 has a global score of 65.9, which is much better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD's overall score of 53.4. LG G Pad 8.3 is a noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner device than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, even though they were released with only 8 months difference. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad 8.3 has the newer 4.4 version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1, providing the user lots of additional features and increased performance.
Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has a bit better processing power than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a lower number of cores and they are also slower and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a sharper screen than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a bigger screen and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
LG G Pad 8.3 has a very superior camera than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a much more mega-pixels back camera. LG G Pad 8.3 features a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has 16 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 64 GB.
LG G Pad 8.3 features just a bit better battery performance than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has an 11 percent more battery capacity.
In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, LG G Pad 8.3 is also by far the cheapest, which makes it a great choice.
