Comparison review
Microsoft Surface RT is slightly better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, having a 58.4 score against 53.4. Microsoft Surface RT is a a lot heavier tablet than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, but both have the same thickness. The Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT operating system, and Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD works with Android 4.1 operating system.
The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features just a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 768 x 1024px and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has a bit faster CPU than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a much better 1.06 gigahertz graphics processor.
Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD shoots way better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a camera with a much higher resolution. Microsoft Surface RT counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD counts with a superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.
