Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has an overall score of 65.6, which is much better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD's 53.4 score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a newer device, and it is also a lot lighter and just a little bit thinner than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has 4.4.2 version and Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1 version.
The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has 2 lesser CPU cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much better looking screen than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a little bit higher 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a slightly better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a way better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a camera in the back with a much better 3 megapixels resolution.
The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 4 percent larger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
