Comparison review

Galaxy Tab A (2016) is much better than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, with a 60.4 score against 53.4. Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s construction is newer, just a bit thinner and incredibly lighter than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it has a just a bit lower display pixels density and a little lower resolution of 768 x 1024, they both have a screen with the same size. Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) takes greater photographs and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a much better storage for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a SD card slot that holds up to 200 GB.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 4 percent bigger battery capacity.
