Galaxy Tab A (2016) is much better than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, with a 60.4 score against 53.4. Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s construction is newer, just a bit thinner and incredibly lighter than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1.
The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it has a just a bit lower display pixels density and a little lower resolution of 768 x 1024, they both have a screen with the same size.
