Galaxy Tab E is much better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, having a 60.7 score against 53.4. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab E has a newer 4.4 version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1, so it provides a couple additional features and improved performance. Although Galaxy Tab E is just a bit heavier than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, it's somewhat thinner and also extremely newer.

Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit worse 768 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a little higher pixels count in each screen inch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E takes way better photographs and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a camera with a lot better resolution. The Galaxy Tab E features a superior memory for apps and games than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab E also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E has greater battery duration than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
