Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab T-Mobile has a global score of 57.6, which is slightly better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD's general score of 53.4. Both tablets we are comparing here use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab T-Mobile has the previous 2.2 version and Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1 version. Galaxy Tab T-Mobile is an a lot older and a lot thicker tablet than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat lighter anyway.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab T-Mobile, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD also has a little more pixels per display inch and a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1024. Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab T-Mobile, because it has a better graphics co-processor running at 1.06 GHz, a greater number of cores (and also faster) and 384 MB more RAM memory.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD counts with a slightly better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab T-Mobile, although it has just 8 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab T-Mobile counts with a much better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a back camera with a much better 3 mega-pixels resolution.
