Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 10, getting a 69.2 score against 54.8. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Although the Galaxy Note 8.0 is incredibly older and just a bit thicker than Amazon Fire HD 10, it's construction is still a lot lighter.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has just a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 10, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a graphics processor and a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a better pixel density.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 10. Both of them have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and a 5 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera. The Amazon Fire HD 10 features much more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 128 GB and more internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a way better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 10.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 costs a bit more money than Amazon Fire HD 10, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
