Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 10, getting a general score of 62.7 against 54.8. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is better than the Amazon Fire HD 10, we must highlight that it is also way older, a lot heavier and thicker. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has 4.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a little more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 10. Both of them have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, a same size display and a better count of pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a processing unit that's very similar to the processor in Amazon Fire HD 10, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has lesser CPU cores, and they both have the same RAM amount, it also counts with a GPU.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 count with similar cameras, although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a much worse resolution back-facing camera. Amazon Fire HD 10 features a way bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that supports up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 10.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 10, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
