Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has an overall score of 66.2, which is way better than Amazon Fire HD 10's overall score of 54.8. Despite of the fact Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is older and a little thicker than the Amazon Fire HD 10, it's construction is still noticeably lighter. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features an incredibly better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's processor is just as good as the CPU in Amazon Fire HD 10, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has an extra graphics processor and more RAM memory, they both have 4 CPU cores.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 10.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 captures much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 10, although it has a lot worse 3 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a lot lower video quality.

In addition to being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one, making it a no doubt choice.
