Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 10, having a general score of 58.1 against 54.8. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device than Amazon Fire HD 10, we must tell that it's also a noticeably older, somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier device. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has older 3.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 counts with a better CPU than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of faster cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display.

Amazon Fire HD 10 counts with a slightly better storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a much longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 10.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 10, although it has a lot less MP resolution back-facing camera and a much worse (HD) video resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 costs a little more than Amazon Fire HD 10, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
