Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 10, having a 68.3 score against 54.8. Although Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is thicker than Amazon Fire HD 10, it's somewhat lighter and also way newer. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HD 10 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version, offering a lot of extra features and performance improvements.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 has a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although it has 1 GB less RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a bit sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 10, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also counts with a better screen pixel density.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) captures way better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 10. Both of them have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 10, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 400 GB.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 10.

Even being the best tablet in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is also cheap compared to the other tablet.
