Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) has a general score of 62.8, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's overall score of 58.1. Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021)'s body is newer, but a little heavier and just a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both devices we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version.
Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) features a way better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster). Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a little more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021), although it has a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the screen, a little bit smaller display and a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.
The Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a very superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021).
The Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus (2021) also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 5 MP resolution.
