Comparison review

Acer Iconia A1 is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 6, getting a 55.4 score against 55. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS, but Acer Iconia A1 has older 4.1 version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. Acer Iconia A1's design is older, just a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 6.

Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia A1, although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount. Amazon Fire HD 6 features a better screen than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a much higher pixels quantity per inch of display and a slightly higher resolution of 1280 x 800px.

Acer Iconia A1 features a very superior memory to install applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 32 GB. The Acer Iconia A1 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a much more MP back facing camera.
