IPad mini 2 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 6, getting a 77.2 score against 55. IPad mini 2 is an older and heavier tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 6, but Apple managed to build it incredibly thinner anyway. IPad mini 2 counts with iOS 8.x OS, while Amazon Fire HD 6 comes with Android 4.4 OS.
IPad mini 2 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 6, because although it has a lower number of slower cores, and they both have the same RAM amount, the iPad mini 2 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an extra graphics co-processor. The iPad mini 2 has a little more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a way bigger screen, more pixels per display inch and a much higher 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution.
Apple iPad mini 2 features a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Apple iPad mini 2 also has a back-facing camera with a much better 5 mega-pixels resolution.
