The Asus VivoTab Smart has a general score of 58.7, which is a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 6's general score of 55. The Asus VivoTab Smart design is notably heavier but just a little bit thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 6. The Asus VivoTab Smart comes with Windows 8 operating system, while Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with Android 4.4 operating system.
Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a much better looking screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little lower 1280 x 800 resolution, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the display. Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has 64 GB internal storage.
Asus VivoTab Smart features just a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 6, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a larger amount of RAM memory. Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a back facing camera with a way better resolution.
Asus VivoTab Smart and Amazon Fire HD 6 both feature quite similar battery durations.
Although Asus VivoTab Smart is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Fire HD 6. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 6, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
