Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 6, with a overall score of 79.3 against 55. Google Pixel Slate's body is newer and extremely thinner than Amazon Fire HD 6's, although it's way heavier. Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with Android 4.4 operating system.
The Google Pixel Slate has just a little better performance than Amazon Fire HD 6, because although it has 2 less 1.5 gigahertz cores, it also counts with 15 GB more RAM. Amazon Fire HD 6 features a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a little bit worse number of pixels per inch in the display, a way smaller display and a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px.
The Google Pixel Slate shoots way better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Google Pixel Slate also has a much more mega pixels back camera. Google Pixel Slate features a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has 256 GB internal memory.
The Google Pixel Slate's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery duration in Amazon Fire HD 6.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 6. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Amazon Fire HD 6, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
