The HTC Flyer has a global score of 58.7, which is slightly better than Amazon Fire HD 6's overall score of 55. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC Flyer has an older 3.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. Even being the best tablet device in this review, we must tell that it is also incredibly older, extremely heavier and extremely thicker.
The Amazon Fire HD 6 has a better display than HTC Flyer, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels number in each inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800px. HTC Flyer features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 32 GB.
Amazon Fire HD 6 features a little better hardware performance than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with more CPU cores. HTC Flyer has a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 6.
The HTC Flyer counts with a very superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video definition, the HTC Flyer also has a way better 5 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
Although HTC Flyer is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 6. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 6, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
