Comparison review
The LG G Pad X 8.0 is better than Amazon Fire HD 6, with a score of 63.5 against 55. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad X 8.0 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4. The LG G Pad X 8.0 body is newer and thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 6's, but it's also just a bit heavier.
The Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a bit better screen than LG G Pad X 8.0, although it has a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800px, a just a bit lower pixel density and a really smaller display. LG G Pad X 8.0 counts with a bit better processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a higher number of 1500 megahertz cores and more RAM.
LG G Pad X 8.0 captures much better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the LG G Pad X 8.0 also has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels. The LG G Pad X 8.0 features much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G Pad X 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB.
LG G Pad X 8.0 has a much better battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 6.
