Comparison review
The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a general score of 63.8, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's global score of 55. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. Although the LG G Pad X 8.3 and the Amazon Fire HD 6 were released with only a couple of months difference, LG G Pad X 8.3's body is noticeably heavier but thinner.
LG G Pad X 8.3 has a bit faster processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a greater number of 1.5 gigahertz cores. Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a little bit better screen than LG G Pad X 8.3, although it has a quite inferior pixels number in each inch in the screen, a much lower 1280 x 800 resolution and a lot smaller screen.
The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a way higher resolution back facing camera. LG G Pad X 8.3 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a much longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 6.
