The Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 69.2, which is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's score of 55. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. Galaxy Note 8.0 is an older and somewhat heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 6, but Samsung was able to build it a lot thinner anyway.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit faster CPU than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has more RAM and a graphics co-processor. Amazon Fire HD 6 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a higher pixels amount per inch of display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a way better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a way more mega-pixels back camera. Galaxy Note 8.0 is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 6, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
