Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a general score of 62.7, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 6's 55 score. Even though the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is older and a lot heavier than Amazon Fire HD 6, it's body is still just a little thinner. These devices include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has 4.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a processor that is very similar to the Amazon Fire HD 6 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has less 1500 megahertz processing cores, and they both have the same RAM amount, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Amazon Fire HD 6 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also counts with a way greater pixels count per display inch.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 takes slightly better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a camera with way more megapixels. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has more memory for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, because although it has only 8 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 64 GB.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Fire HD 6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 6, letting go some features and specs.
