The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a global score of 60.8, which is better than Amazon Fire HD 6's 55 global score. These devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the previous 4.1.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus design is a little bit thinner than Amazon Fire HD 6, but it is somewhat heavier and was released 3 years before.
The Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Amazon Fire HD 6 also has a greater number of faster cores. The Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better screen pixel density and a higher 1280 x 800 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that admits up to 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a slightly better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has a back camera with much more mega-pixels.

If you are trying to save some money, you can get Amazon Fire HD 6, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
