Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a mid-level tablet launched in 2011, with a 1200 megahertz Dual-Core processor, a big 7 inches multi touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 3 MP back camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera.

Samsung ships this tablet with a fast 1.2 gigahertz Dual-Core processing unit with 1 GB RAM memory. This tablet counts with a great 32 GB internal storage memory and an SD extension slot, enough to store hundreds of applications and even the heaviest games available nowadays without even thinking about filling it.

Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 12.17 oz tablet device. The Tab 7.0 Plus is a very compact tablet, taking into account that it packs a 7" screen and it's just 7.62 inches long. This tablet is incredibly slim and comfortable, with a thickness of just 0.39".

Samsung equipped the Tab 7.0 Plus with a good 7 inches screen, and a 600 x 1024 resolution, making everything look quite nice. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2 MP front camera. It can also film HD 1280x720 videos. The camera also includes a couple of good features: flash, auto-focus and smile detection shooting.

This tablet comes with an inmense 4000 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery that can keep it running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to take into account is that this device's battery is non-replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to live shorter, even though with so much capacity you will probably buy a new tablet device before that happens.

The Tab 7.0 Plus counts with wifi capability (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE networks and fast 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus works with a SIM card for GSM services.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also comes with a handful of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Samsung is selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus for $ 549, which is not cheap for a tablet device this level. No matter whether you are looking for a gaming portable tablet, want a tablet for work or want this device majorly for social networks and internet browsing, you will definitely be very happy with this tablet.
