Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a mid level tablet device released in 2011, which counts with a fast Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1200 MHz, a big 7 inches multi touch screen, and two cameras, a 3 MP back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front side camera.

Samsung decided to equip this tablet with a fast Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz and 1 GB RAM. A nice point of this tablet is the 16 GB quite big internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, enough to store hundreds of applications without running out of space.

The Tab 7.0 Plus isn't very light for a tablet of this size, weighting 12.17 oz. Being just 0.39" thick,this tablet is very thin and practical. This tablet is only 7.62 inches long, but it manages to hold a 7 inches display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a good level 7 inches display with a 600 x 1024 resolution, making everything look nice. Its display uses LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 3 MP back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera. This tablet also films videos up to 1280x720 (HD). This tablet also counts with a couple of useful characteristics: auto-focus, flash and smile detection shooting.

This tablet has WiFi connection (but it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connection type, which is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

This tablet packs a 4000 mAh incredible Li-Ion non-removable battery that provides the Tab 7.0 Plus an incredible battery life. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to lose its charge, though with such a huge battery size you will probably discard this tablet before it becomes an issue.

The Tab 7.0 Plus also comes with some nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Samsung offers the Tab 7.0 Plus for $ 555, which is a really high price for this kind of tablet. No matter whether you want it for work, need a tablet device to play tons of games or will use this tablet mostly for social networks, this tablet device is definitely a good choice .
