The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 6, getting a 75.2 score against 55. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's design is somewhat heavier but thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 6, and both were only released 9 months apart. Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has newer 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a better display than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a way larger display, a way better 2560 x 1600 resolution and more pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB and 32 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a superior processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a GPU and a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 6.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a way better camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 6, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
