Comparison review
The Alcatel 3T 8 is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 7, getting a score of 58.6 against 54.8. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Alcatel 3T 8 has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version, providing you some additional features and optimized performance. Alcatel 3T 8's construction is notably newer, lighter and a lot thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 7.
Amazon Fire HD 7 has a sharper screen than Alcatel 3T 8, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a just a bit higher number of pixels per screen inch. Alcatel 3T 8's processing unit is very similar to Amazon Fire HD 7's processor, and although the Alcatel 3T 8 has 1 GB more RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Alcatel 3T 8 has a very superior storage to install games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Alcatel 3T 8 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Alcatel 3T 8 has a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 7.
The Alcatel 3T 8 captures much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Alcatel 3T 8 also has a camera with a much higher 5 MP resolution.
