Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a score of 58, which is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 global score. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has older 4.2.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 construction is lighter and thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 7, even though it was released about a year before.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have a same size screen, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and more pixels per screen inch. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has as much memory capacity to store more apps and games as the Amazon Fire HD 7, both of them have exactly the same internal storage.
