The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a score of 58, which is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 global score. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has older 4.2.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 construction is lighter and thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 7, even though it was released about a year before.
