Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 7, with a 68.5 score against 54.8. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.2.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version. Despite of the fact Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is older and heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 7, it's construction is still way thinner.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a lot greater pixels amount per screen inch, a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a larger screen. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has a greater amount of RAM and an extra graphics processor.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has 64 GB internal storage. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a greater camera than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a camera with much more megapixels.
