The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a general score of 70.8, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 general score. Even though Google Nexus 7 (2013) is older than the Amazon Fire HD 7, it's body is lighter and somewhat thinner. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has the newer 5.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version.
Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a bit faster processor than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have 4 cores, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has an additional graphics processor and more RAM. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a slightly better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has more pixels per inch of display and a way better 1200 x 1920px resolution.
