Comparison review

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a general score of 65.9, which is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 overall score. LG G Pad 8.3's design is noticeably thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 7, but it is a little heavier and was released around a year before. Both devices we compare here include the same Android 4.4 OS, so they should offer the same OS features.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a bit better CPU than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a higher amount of RAM. The LG G Pad 8.3 has a bit more vivid display than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a greater pixels density and a bigger display.

LG G Pad 8.3 captures much better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a back camera with much more megapixels. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with much more storage capacity for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 64 GB.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a really longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 7.

Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, LG G Pad 8.3 is also cheaper than the Amazon Fire HD 7, which makes it a simple decision.
