Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 3 has a general score of 66.3, which is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 global score. Although the Microsoft Surface 3 and the Amazon Fire HD 7 were only released 7 months apart, the Microsoft Surface 3 construction is incredibly heavier but thinner. The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have 4 cores, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Amazon Fire HD 7 has a brighter display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater pixels number per inch of screen. The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
Microsoft Surface 3 shoots a lot better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a much more mega-pixels camera in the back. Microsoft Surface 3 has a battery life that's very similar to the Amazon Fire HD 7 one.
Microsoft Surface 3 is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 7, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
