Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 7, having a 65.1 score against 54.8. Although it's the best we compare here, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 construction is older, way heavier and much thicker than the Amazon Fire HD 7. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 OS.
Amazon Fire HD 7 has a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a really smaller display and a much lower 1280 x 800 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels density. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a little bit better performance than Amazon Fire HD 7, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with 7 GB more RAM memory.
The Amazon Fire HD 7 takes much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has much more memory for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface Pro 2's battery life is just as good as the battery life in Amazon Fire HD 7.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 7, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
