Although the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is much heavier than Amazon Fire HD 7, it's extremely thinner and incredibly newer. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) comes with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with Android 4.4 OS.
