Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is better than the Amazon Fire HD 7, with a 63 score against 54.8. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is an older and way heavier tablet device than the Amazon Fire HD 7, but Samsung was able to build it somewhat thinner anyway. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4.

The Amazon Fire HD 7 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although it has 1 GB less RAM, they both have a Quad-Core processor. The Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a higher pixels density.

So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Amazon Fire HD 7, letting go a couple specs and features.
