Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is much better than Amazon Fire HD 7, getting a 65.9 score against 54.8. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has an older 4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch construction is thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 7, but it's much heavier and was released about 16 months before.
Amazon Fire HD 7 has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also has a higher number of cores. The Amazon Fire HD 7 has a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a greater number of pixels per screen inch.
