Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a global score of 65.6, which is better than Amazon Fire HD 7's general score of 54.8. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4, providing a couple additional features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Amazon Fire HD 7, even though they were only released 6 months apart.

The Amazon Fire HD 7 features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. Both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, a greater pixels amount in each inch in the screen and a screen of the same size. Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, although it has 512 MB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 7, because although it has just 8 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a way better camera than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a back camera with lot more mega pixels.

Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 7.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is also cheaper than the Amazon Fire HD 7, making it a simple decision.
