The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 7, having a global score of 70.2 against 54.8. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features.
