The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 7, having a global score of 70.2 against 54.8. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s body is newer and extremely thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 7's, but it is incredibly heavier.

Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a bit faster processor than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has more processing cores and more RAM memory. Amazon Fire HD 7 features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px, a much smaller display and a little bit lower pixels number in each inch in the screen.
