Comparison review

Galaxy Tab A (2016) is much better than Amazon Fire HD 7, with a general score of 60.4 against 54.8. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has 5.1 Lollipop version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version, so it offers some nice extra features and improved performance. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) design is newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Amazon Fire HD 7.

Amazon Fire HD 7 has a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A (2016). They have the same 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, a display with the same size and the same count of pixels per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a much better storage for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 7, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 200 GB.

Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) captures a lot better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a much better resolution back-facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) not only is the best devices between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest.
