Comparison review

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a general score of 62.8, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 overall score. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4, providing the user a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's design is incredibly thinner and just a bit lighter than the Amazon Fire HD 7, even though both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.

The Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels amount in each inch of display and a slightly higher 1280 x 800 resolution. The Amazon Fire HD 7 features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 4 processing cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a much more mega pixels camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a much greater storage to install applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
