Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 7, having a 70 score against 54.8. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4, giving a couple additional features. Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is heavier than Amazon Fire HD 7, it's just a little bit thinner and notably newer.
Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a little greater pixels amount in each screen inch. Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a superior storage for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a bit better processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a much longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 7.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 7, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
