The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 7, getting a 64.9 score against 54.8. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a newer and thinner device than the Amazon Fire HD 7, although it is also a little bit heavier. These tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4, providing you lots of additional features.

Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it has 512 MB less RAM, they both have 4 CPU cores.
