The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is way better than Amazon Fire HD 7, having a score of 78.5 against 54.8. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 body is a lot heavier but incredibly thinner than Amazon Fire HD 7, and they were released only 9 months apart. These devices come with the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect.

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a better CPU than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory and an additional GPU. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a little bit better display than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a just a little higher pixels number per display inch, a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a really bigger screen.
