Acer Iconia W700 is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, having a score of 59.6 against 54.1. The Acer Iconia W700 comes with Windows 8 Pro operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Despite being the best in our current comparison, Acer Iconia W700's body is notably older, notably thicker and extremely heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8.
The Acer Iconia W700 features a little faster processor than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and 3 GB more RAM memory. Acer Iconia W700 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a way better 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, a really bigger screen and a little more pixels per screen inch.
Acer Iconia W700 and Amazon Fire HD 8 feature quite similar cameras, both of them have the same video frame rates, a back-facing camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution and the same (Full HD) video resolution.
