The Alcatel PLUS 12 has an overall score of 58.9, which is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8's general score of 54.1. Alcatel PLUS 12's body is newer, but way heavier and a little bit thicker than Amazon Fire HD 8. The Alcatel PLUS 12 works with Windows 10 operating system, while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
Alcatel PLUS 12 features a little bit better performance than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
